I’m Emily

I was born and raised in Orange County, California, and some of my earliest memories are in my grandmother’s garden—digging in the dirt, watching things grow, and learning to appreciate beauty in the everyday. She dabbled in painting and several other artistic mediums as a hobby and passed along her love of nature and creativity to me. That early influence shaped how I see the world and how I approach design today.

Art has always been a part of my life in some form, but it wasn’t until I began planning my own wedding that I discovered a new path. As I searched for stationery that felt romantic, personal, and inspired by the natural world, I realized there was space to bring something fresh and thoughtful to the process. It sparked an idea—and La Fleur Paper Company was born.

La Fleur is my way of blending a love for design, nature, and tradition. It’s a celebration of paper goods as lasting, tangible pieces of life’s most meaningful moments—from wedding invitations to everyday correspondence. My hope is that each design helps people slow down, connect, and experience the joy of something created with care.
